Thats what i am doing this time, problem is, i have heard maximum density of approx 6 per m2, so either way i am going to end up with LOTS of dead yabbies.

Yeah I pull the mothers out once they have dropped, if I'm there and see them.. Some of our yabby ponds just do their thing without interference .

yeah the only way is to remove the adults after they drop I do this with my marron breeding tank and then let the juveniles look after themselves fairly sure this would apply to the yabbies...

Not sure but I reckon a spirulina disk would do the trick. Still waiting for my mum and dad to do their thing, but no eggs showing yet
