i was out fishing today and found another good spot to get fresh water mussels picked up about twenty just walking alone the edge nice and clean as well all sizes

I tried contacting that guy over east but haven't heard back Faye tried contacting one of the others over east and was told "perhaps try and find a closer local supplier". :geek:

The guy I got my mussels from, Brenton seems to have gone to ground.

He offered to refund $20 due to 100 out of the 300 mussels being 25mm rather than 75mm.

Just email him and he usually answers overnight.

Edit: since I have about 300 mussels, I could look at reselling to the Melbourne byap'ers at cost.

I have been finding my FW mussels floating i guess they are dead water temp has been as high as 33Degs dose anybody know if they die at high water temps i did add salt to my system but where i got them from was not far away from a salt lake only thing dividing them is a weir

After trudging through the river (and several spider webs) today at Caversham, Guildford, Success Hill and Beechboro I've consigned to the fact I am going to have to buy some mussels. Anyone got a big enough surplus that they would like to sell me at least a couple?
