Sharon lives in a beautiful place, amongst natural bushland and creeks and streams. The Perth Darling ranges.

She has a keen eye for sustainability and lives in a beautifully crafted stone building, built on sustainable practices. She has a medium 1/4 acre vegie patch and a 1/4 acre home orchard and grows most of her own food.

An aquaponics system is a perfect addition to her already sustainable lifestyle. Her small but productive system will assist her in growing vegetables that she has trouble growing in her tradition garden.

Below are some pictures of Sharon's system.

Sharon has been pleased with the growth in the one ned system and has decided to add to it with a second bed. Peter was called in and upgraded the system, allowing sharon to plant a greater variety in the system. She has had great results with the beetroot and the leaves make a great addition to salads.

The second bed was installed a little while ago, definately overdue on the update I'm afraid.
