Keep up your good work F&F...I for one have appreciated much of your advice.

You must feel heaps better now after that spray,Oh and I don't disagree with you needing to do that now and then,when the pressure builds up over years you definitely need to vent.And sometimes,although I think you need to pick your times,if something is said that is just completely well, wrong then that needs to be corrected.but in general if they have a go and you don't fight back,even if you are right,it really only looks bad for them.

I will say this,I have respected you and your forum for not repetitively having a go or repeatedly fighting back,I think,so long as it does not become a continual thing,it's OK to fight back now and then.I guess what I'm trying to say is I thank you folk here for not making aquaponics look bad,as IMHO the continual arguing between Aquaponic forums definitely looks bad for aquaponics to the general public.

I think Blogs are a different kettle of fish,if you have a gripe then go for it as much and hard as you want and enjoy.That's what they are there for.

Just for the record,I like many,am a member of the three main Australian forums,and they are all do have their merits.

Milne,Gary's forum was the first forum I joined,and you were the first to welcome me to the world of aquaponics.Thanks for that,I have enjoyed your advise and your dry sense of humour,don't let being scorned by someone stop or change any of that,just flick over now and then and check Crusty's new system out,it's pretty cool.We all love ya mate,keep up the good work.

Thanks Bigdaddy, yeah feel a little better, but unfortunately going on past experience, things will quieten down for a little while, then build back up again over time. The cycle seems to go round and round, hopefully it will be different this time.

Oh well, carry on as usual, keep moving forward, there will always be the knockers and the skeptics. And the best way to deal with both of these? Continue to do what you're doing and be successful. I found this from very early on when people were skeptical whether AP even worked, just show them the pictures and the systems...

A very simple method of being sure that people can't find fault with statements is to only recommend and say what you have actually done. Don't think you can grow that many fish? We've done it.. You don't think the systems will work? They are working. When people try and argue against physical reality, they only start to look silly themselves at the end of the day.
