OK, so its been a while now
I have moved all my big fish from my 1000L tank into my big tank, temps came up in the little one and i lost 2 trout, so they moved house with the silvers (4) then i got some goldies and 2 plecos to do some cleaning. I have some yabbies organised, but will run this tank light until it gets cold again.

so i have a little growth in some plants.. Excellent
and i have not lost 1 fish in the big pond. the silvers love the window, the trout try to swim through it every now and again..

the one with the weird eye seems to have come good... i cant pick him out now, so all must be good right??

anyway.. pics.

Looking good Steve... :thumbright:

No troubles mixing your trout and SIlvers? We found our silvers did not like being in with the trout, they would die slowly one every couple of days till we separated them, then no more deaths..

My plecos are leaving clean paths behind them and all is looking quite good.

... had an issue with a dead trout that was sucked to the underside of the pump... didnt/couldnt see it until it started to break up... sent the water quality to sheeeiit... the water was warm, the fish were stressed, i did a water change and i think the variance in temp was a little swift and they started to misbehave *cough*die*cough*.. so at 9pm one night out they all came and off with their heads. .. which the dog loves... then we dont love the dog. So now i have 6 big silvers from when we very first started out and two algae eaters around 5-6 inches each. Adding a new GB very soon, only a smallish one, but its more space. Had a tomato cull, and have found that some of the cherry toms have dropped a while ago and have self seeded themselves.. WIN!.. capsicums powering, so too chillies, and some lettuce looking thing. Passion fruit loves it...
Goat jumped into BYAP GB a while back... much loss of greenery. damn goat.

Tennis balls are for the dogs protection... and exercise when she runs away.....
she jumped into the big pond..... pulling in the air pumps.... all ok though, the trip switches saved the day.
