Whilst I'm sitting at work totally bored i was thinking why do i have all this spare time ....the answer for me is no-one is buying anything due to the year being crap, well how is everyone else doing?
I'm here everyday lately and see those others that are as well....so you all bored at work or what?

We've been pretty busy here, there's always something to do it's just a case of prioritizing things depending on staff and cash. I guess it's hardly ever boring here. Now we have got the space saver system out of the way we are about to set up the 3 x 1 bed trial systems so that we can compare some different aspects of running aquaponic systems. We are still planning how to cover our commercial system so that we can get that up and running again, working on new rafts for the commercial system, got the idea from someone on here, making them from 50mm PVC frame for a float with coreflute cable tied to the top to plant the lettuce cups in..

Just got the word that our huge heavy duty tarps are ready, so it's about time to make up our covers to go over and between our sea containers, then we will have a new little workshop area.

Never boring..... :)

Not Mitch, you can see from this angle a little better, though strangely enough, with that long hair and the stance it does look a bit like him...

Actually, big changes happening at BYAP recently. Today, I think for the first or perhaps second time ever we have an all girl crew manning the shop, with Faye, Raylene and Tanya manning, or rather "womaning" the shop..

I think I'd better go home, I'm not meant to be here, and besides I'm way outvoted... They've already given me a coffee in a cracked cup that kept leaking everywhere..... I'm out of here.... :shifty:

Yeh but I'm specifically looking at marine habitat mapping and using GIS for marine reserve design using computer algorithms, so pretty specific :)

Thanks Gnash

I'm a geologist, now stuck in front of computers. We have Google Earth implemented inside Rio Tinto Iron Ore which we can use to observe onsite vehicles (via GPS hookup), host our own hi-res images, etc, all behind our firewall. I'm it's mother !

Didn't the Angolan army the other day use google maps to navigate and accidently invade another country as google got the border wrong? :dontknow:

So I can see it now, Rio start mining BHP's iron ore, and we now get the fight EB was looking for...
