YAY! Overflow system working well. Thanks TCLynx. Found info on your No Holes Overflow thread.
Finally got enough rain and time off work to see it working this morning. Very glad to know water will not spill over top of tank.

Well I have left system uncovered for last 3weeks as weather has been perfect. Sprinkled some cress seeds last week and have lovely sprouts now. Plants are doing really well. Will post shots tomorrow. Silvers have slowed down with their feeding and goldfish are still pigs. BSF are as hungry as can be and thank goodness I have good leads to plenty of food scraps. There are thousands of BSFL now and I still cant bring myself to feed them to the fish. My housemate reckons I wont be able to kill the fish when the time comes. Maybe she is right

 Doh! I was hoping to fly under the radar for a bit longer. I promised photos way back in May I know. And you did tick me off, Faye, last time I was at the shop :blackeye: :
I told Faye how wonderful my Broad Beans were. She said " oh yeah, so where are the photos"
Guess I had better get my :bootyshake: up the backyard and take some.
I should have done it months ago cos I have had a big clean out and restock so not as wild as it was.
Alright,alright, Im going :wave1:

:cussing: Flat batteries! Have to now allow for recharge. Ive not long had them in camera and they are Kodak rechargeables. :upset:
By the way, great to see you back into the swing, Dude.
I have a Rocoto Red in my system. I grew it from seed. It has shot up really tall as it has been fighting for sunlight. Have culled around it and it is getting its side shoots now.. Did have a Naga Morich but it carked it. No sign of African Devil or Scotch Bonnet sprouting yet.
:flower:

Good to see some of the more obscure chilli varieties being grown ! The rocotos are a great chilli, pretty hot though. They're only chilli with black seeds.

It's good to be back - thanks.

One more: The purple stem plant next to the Rocoto chilli is Corriander that has gone to seed. I have left Dill and Lettuce go to seed also. They get pretty tall.See what happens
