Hey CD, any chance of a couple of photos of the fish tank inside the house. Just curious how it is all going.

Would love to include a tank into my new house but the wife wont have a bar of it.

Yeah, will do Dwayno.

Mrs Chilli doesn't like it now, but too late and too bad

So, my photos aren't gunna help you convince your missus. You won't really see any fish in the photos as the SPs and BB bland in pretty well with the algae bottom.

The main point is that I love it

Still think a nice urn for your return water to overfill right in the middle might help sell her on it :support: Has your sugarcane done anything? Mine is sitting in the overflows of my system so it stays wet but still gets air during the drain but is doing nothing. Thinking I should plant it out into a wicking barrel.

Yeah, I'll be goin for something like that, eventually - the real problem is that it's not at the top of my priority list.

Not a great deal - the leaf sticking out the top of my piece has grown a bit, that's all. The one I put in last year though has about 3 or 4 shoots coming off of it. Will try and get a photo tonight.

Time for a Fish Tank Makeover! :thumbright:

Speaking artistically, Lots of angles there by the tank and no curves. Angles are used in art to create tension. Add some curves to the indoor tank - a nice water lily perhaps . Or you could paint something on the walls. Mrs Chili Dude might start liking it more if you can soften the edges or give it a more relaxed feel. :occasion5:

Cheers
