Hi,

This Movember I've decided to donate my face to raising awareness about men's health.
My commitment is to shave my facial hair (except my eyebrows) at the end of Movember, which I know will generate conversation, controversy and laughter, especially when you see my shaven face.
I will post an image of my naked face on the Movember page for all to see.
Of course, this is a temporary measure and I will re-grow my facial hair ASAP to restore me to favour with my wife, who wouldn't recognise me without it.

I am doing this because close to 3,300 men die of prostate cancer in Australia each year and one in eight men will experience depression in their lifetime.

This is a cause I feel strongly about and I'm asking you to support my efforts by making a donation to me. To help, you can either:
- Click this link http://au.movember.com/mospace/874662/ and donate online using your credit card or PayPal account
- Write a cheque payable to Movember Foundation, referencing my registration number 874662 and mailing it to: Movember Foundation, PO Box 292, Prahran, VIC, 3181

Through the Movember Foundation and its men's health partners, PCFA and beyondblue: the national depression initiative, Movember is funding world class research, educational and support programs which would otherwise not be possible.

For more details on the impact Movember is having please visit: http://au.movemberfoundation.com/research-and-programs.

Thank you in advance for helping me to support men's health.

Tony Clark

I may donate next week after getting payed. Have done the movember thing the last two years and had a cancerous prostate removed 2.5 years ago. All tests have been good so far since.
Its a good cause, and all you dudes go get a PSA blood test because early detection means only good things, beleive me.
I had no symptoms at all and was only detected with a 50yo checkup which included the psa test
If I hadnt done that I would be sitting here, (maybe), with the cancer, which was edge posotive in three places in the prostate, escaping to who knows where in my body.
Go get tested, hey, its only a blood test

Only a blood test nowadays? Man they should make that a bit better known, I assumed it was still the finger test. :bootyshake:

Thanks to the crew at BYAP.
Much appreciated Joel.

I think I had better have mine tested ASAP.

I have regular colonoscopys as I have a family history of colon cancer. I asked the Dr doing it to check out the prostate while I was full of valium - but he didn't tell me if it was OK. or did I forgot??
