Set the end frames, with double sliding doors... and poured the rainwater tank slab today...

The day dawned warm, still and clear... with a thunderstorm and southerly front expected around lunchtime...

Decided to pull the film over the greenhouse... talk about many hands make light work... had it on in a flash...

Was actually getting really warm outside... but once we got the cover on and began enclosing the sides... it got really hot....

After morning tea, we closed in the ends... and by lunch time it was ridiculously hot inside the greenhouse... welll over 40 celcius...

The poor pre-apprentice TAFE lads... were wilting like delicate flowers... :(

Not funny, actually... I spot one bloke that looked like he was about to keel over...

Had to take him outside, sit him in the shade for an hour with a wet towel over his head... and pump a couple of litres of water into him...

By 14:30 we had everything locked off... and called it quits before everyone melted...
