No Jaymie. I meant feet.
To confirm: approx 300mm last fortnight, and 600mm in the last 2 days.
I wouldn't even notice an inch, it'd drain out or soak in.
I had to get my waders on just to set up the sump pump (which had been removed to be used as an emergency AP pump)

You can see the cyclone (approaching the Cocos Islands)... toward the middle/top left of the sat image...

No chance at the moment Gnash.... unless the track alters back toward the coast...

we have had 75mm since Sun night with more expected this week, I had to pump out 100mm from the Trout tank as they were all looking over the edge planing an escape to the dam lower down the property

I agree Kuda must be on crack. According to the BOM, Bundoora has only had 600mm all year.

We're up to about a 1 meter this year so far (closest weather station archerfield http://www.weatherzone.com.au/qld/south ... st/moggill) and its not even the wet season yet. If we get average november and december rain, could be well over 1250mm.

I live in Preston not far from Bundoora and have just come home after being away all weekend. Have 61mm in the rain gauge. Just added up the October rain fall and we are 608mm for the year.

Had a total of 137.5mm for October and the average for the past 6 years is for October is 35mm. It's the wettest October since I have kept charts here and that’s for 6 years. The nearest was the 1st year at 75mm.

Will have to pump some water out of the FT, there's only about 10mm of freeboard left. I had taken a bit extra out as new this last lot was coming, luckily I did.

:flower:
