What temp gauges have people found to be the most reliable for AP. I found for my aquarium the stick on the glass colour code strip to be reliable for an aquarium but not practical for AP. I have had a digital one for my aquarium but it lasted less than 6 mnths, Brands and any links of what you guys have found to be the best will help me on my venture,

Thanks
Pete

Small glass thermometers available from any pet store. They have a suction cup to stick them to the side of the tank or you can just throw them in as they float.

Min/Max memory for both.

sounds like the one I had that lasted a few months, my experience with anything from "b" is It will probably end up with the same outcome. I like the old mercury style in the tube idea. mechanical not electronic, however if someone knows of an electronic model that has definitely proved itself over time I'm all ears, what brand was the one from B.

The one that came with my kit looks to be made for a swimming pool. It's in a plastic housing that helps it float and has sting tied to it which it tied off the leg of the GB stand. Seems to work pretty good.

Maybe try Clark Rubber or your local pool shop, would love to find a good digital one with a remote read out and even a data logger, ooohh wouldn't that be swish! :D

Try this one... http://www.aquamail.com.au/shop/index.p ... duct_id=72

And if you want extra remote sensors ... try Guppys...
