First day of the Narrogin spring festival today and many people were very interested in the AP as well as Di's garden. Tomorrow is another day for the open garden and we are expecting a lot more visitors than today. Nocky has volunteered to come out and do a bit of AP spruiking, and I may be able to go for an afternoon nap!! :D

Abdul, here is your picture of my mango that you requested, and a couple of vegie shots. The tomatoes are winter tomatoes that came as seeds with the Burks Backyard magazine, and they are very nice and not very acidic.

Thanks Rick, it looks marvelous! Could use a little toughening up, try the pushing idea and let us know if it works out

Great job on those tomatos, how come you have them just lying on the GB that way instead of hung up on a string or staked?

Most of them are strung up abdul, but these small tommys have a fairly compact bush, so half of it half of it is up and the other half is not big enough.

I can do that Faye, but like Abdul, you will have to be patient. Getting too many brownie points in quick succession is just a waste!!

Can't say no seeing you are bowing to me! Send me a PM with your address and that may remind me as well.

Yep, pawpaws banana and mango. Mango has been in for 9 months I think. You could look back through my thread and tell me.
Too many questions. I will have to go back into posting hibernation again.

Bugger, another Pawpaw tree bites the dust, a female too I believe. Ah well, I still have two more and they have different looking flowers, so that means, a male and a female.

Not only are they still alive but they have a thicker trunk that is tapered to the top. Both in the same blue drum, bugger again! These two must be a different variety. Initially I bought some seedlings and I also planted some seeds from a very nice pawpaw. I'm not sure which is which now.

My mango tree is discarding some of its fruit, it had too many anyway. Time will tell if any of the ones left will fully develop. As much as I love to eat mangoes, I have just discovered that I am allergic to their skin. The skin has an oil on it similar to poison ivy, and it brings out a very itch rash in ones tender spots, that I won't discuss here, but also under my neck, belly button etc. The itch lasts a good two weeks. :upset:

Might I suggest you stop rubbing mangoes on your "tender spots" and then they will not get so itchy :-P
