Is anyone aware of a suitable up to date text for raising Rainbow Trout in an aquaculture / Aquaponics environment?
Cheers

There hasnt been a book written on the subject for quite some time as far as I am aware. The best references that I have are:

Trout & Salmon culture, Earl Leitritz, California 1960
Trout Farming Handbook, S Drummond Sedgwick, England 1973
Trout Farming Manual, J P Stevenson, England 1980

The Salmon Handbook by Sedgwick 1982 is also a great book and has some chapters devoted to Trout. Although old and written for American or English conditions these books still contain plenty of relevant information on the subject.

Hobart has some great second hand book shops which may be worth checking out or otherwise you can usually track down a copy over the net.

I have the book by Earl Leitritz.
It is available online for free at http://content.cdlib.org/view?docId=kt4 ... ntire_text
Its incredibly useful, but I thought there'd surely be something more recent though..
RB's are all I'm allowed to have down here so I may as well get hold of as much info as I can..
