I think there might only be Bass available at the moment, and silvers not until end November.
You could also try this dude who is only new. I have emailed him but no reply yet. He might be busy as they only turned their pumps on last week.

Went around to the nursery today and came home with a selection. Lettuces, carrots, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, strawberries and marigolds to make it pretty

Also transfered 17 silver perch from the cold aquarium inside to the aquaponics. Got 8 more in a 22C aquarium that i will transfer to the now empty one once it has got up to 22. then I will drop the temp to ambient over a couple of days then they will go out to the system.

Got small lettuce seedlings and corn growing between the bigger lettuces and brocolli. Hoping they will take over once the bigger plants are pulled.

Well with all the crappy weather I decided to attatch some 40mm pipe filled with water (MalcomC's idea again), so I can roll up the sides to get some more light in.
Also added some worms to the new beds

Got a new Koi Air 50L/min air pump and put two large stones in the tank. Wow it really boils now

So how does this new air pump sound? Is it quiet enough to put outside of a bedroom window? Where did you get it from, how much did it cost, and can you get replacement diaphrams?

BTW great job on the shadehouse.

Got the Koi Air 50 from creative pumps for $254 and its much quieter than electomagnetics but I wouldnt want it outside my bedroom window. Not sure if you can get a quiet pump that pushes this much air

Creative Pumps is about 20 minutes from here. I saw these on the net last week and was already planning a trip there on Monday to check one out. Thanks.

Hydrochloric acid Jamie which is available from hardware stores. Adding 10ml/1000L to try and lower the ph by one or two points a day.
The system was getting down to around ph 6 when I was stuffing around cycling fishlessly then with fish. But after the algae bloom I had in the tank crashed after putting up the hoop house and tank lid, it shot up the ph 7.8
It tested at 7.2 this morning and I added another 30ml. Will test again in an hour
