Hi Ivansng,
That is aquarium gravel - I put it in there because the FT is such a dark colour I wanted something to contrast against the blue to see the fish etc. Is that a massive problem? My pump inlet's raised a few cm above the top of the gravel - been going for a month or two without problems yet?
