Is a good idea, but won't the little holes block up with fish poo over time?

You used it in your ST food&fish but I assume that is a clean water tank, have you tried it in a FT where it had to raise solids?

Take all of about three seconds to remove so if I needed to maintain it it will be easy.

With fingerlings in there 8mm holes are about the max I would want ATM

Iv put heaps more holes in it now in the end and all the way around keeping things very clean even after adding 200lt of blue metal in a new bed that I only rinsed once the tank was dirty for about 24h now is crystal again!

Prob the whirlpool as well helping pull fines out if the tank.

You'll need a packed lunch and a water bag to get through that thread :laughing3:
