ok, I've removed a fair amount of recent posts from this thread and put them in the admin area. For those who commented, thank you for your input, but as a system thread I feel that it really needed to be cleaned up before things got too out of hand.

Did get time to build a Barra Fingerling starting tank though, 500L tank with an 300W heater, insulated sides and base, keeps them at a toasty 28deg.

Took them a few days to settle in, but are now feeding like little pirana...

Starting the Barra in the shed seems to have worked well.

I got them at the end of September 2010, and were 80-90mm.

Here's some pics of the harvest tonight, they were very very tasty...

Length: 330mm
Weight: 535gm

Cooked 2 whole, and filleted the other.
