The SP's are coming from Dean at http://www.growfresh-aquaponics.om.au. Not sure if he's just helping me out as I bought the system off him or he has a heap for sale but will ask when he comes tonight and let you know.

They seem happy enough and have made friends already with previous tenants!

Hopefully with a full tank of fish the plants will start growing faster!

Hi Abdul,
We did put the shop water in with the fish, the water you see in the foam box is a mix of the water they came in plus some of mine to help bring the temp down to equal my system as well to help to adjust to the different Ph level.

They have been real happy the last couple of days since the water temp has risen, this morning it's sitting at 16˚c and getting up to 19˚c during the day.

They have been feeding really well and the numbers have been good with ammonia sitting around .25. Just about to go out and do a water test after breakfast.

I think abdul means don't put shop water in your system, something to do with if the place where you got them has nasties in their water you will get it to.

But if you trust the place you got them, then no worries....it's up to you really :)

Ohhhh! sorry Abdul I miss under stood.

The fish and water came from Deans own system which has been running trouble free for a good couple of years.

But will keep that in mind for next time. :D

why do you dilute the salt first?
iv been using it strait for years with no problemson in my pond
is it diffrent for AP systems

Just seemed like the right thing to do. :think:
Thought it would be easier to put in a bucket to dissolve then having it sit on the bottom of the tank in a heap.
