Home now and all fish alive and well including little silvers in the indoor tank that I have turned the heater off in. It was sitting on 17C ambient but we dropped the central heating down to 15 while away and the tank went down as well. They are still really active and eating well.
New system is crystal clear now and the plants have started to get away nicely. Will post pics tommorow.
Trout system had a slight ammonia reading but pulled off two buckets of solids and topped up with some fresh rainwater. Trout hitting the 6mm pellets like maniacs. Plants in this system are going crazy. Silver beet has nearly hit the greenhouse roof and the celery glut continues
Strawberries starting to grow really well with some sunnier weather.

You were on the right track Mantis.... you only need the id between the {youtube} ...{/youtube} codes...

Instead of ...

You should have had... {youtube}vwonscnMtzk{/youtube}....

Squiggly brackets replaced square brackets so that you can see what I mean...

What Rupert said Mantis :] Just copy the bit in front of the 'v=' and that will make it work.

Heres what it will look like

Now am going to go look at these vids right now if I can manage it off this machine.

Haha, not hanging them Quachy, just holding them up. I train them up ropes not stakes and then along the horizontal ropes when they reach the roof

Thanks for posting them the way i was trying to do Abdul. I was gonna do that this morning but spent the morning changing water in the trout tank due to high ammonia and nitrite readings
Must have been feeding to heavily since going from 1mm to 6mm pellets a week ago

edit: Oh yeah Abdul they are the same trout, and I might have to start eating some very soon if the ammonia wont come down.

Got a good lot of shell grit under each of the gb returns and now ph 6.6.
Since returning from Melbourne the new system has been 0,0,0 with the water readings. I guess 1000L of growbed handles 9 fat goldfish's waste pretty easily.
