Looks beautiful Rob, how did the trout taste? :)
Nearly 4 kg of turnips, yum. Funny thing is that someone asked me today how do turnips grow in the suystem, only wish I knew about yours before I answered.
Well done!

Funny about that Rupe. This week Clive Blazey from diggers seeds is coming to Perth for a lunch with Josh Byrne up in the hills. I have 2 spare tickets if anyone wants to come on Thursday for lunch, it was advertised in the Gardening australia mag for August. Send me a pm if you are interested.
Details here http://diggers.com.au/pdf/GALunchOffSite0910.pdf

Thanks Faye and Rupert. Trout were great very tasty have one left over for lunch. In total we have probably taken about 6g of turnips out of the system. They are very tasty and very vigorous. We planted kohl rab,i kale and beet seeds at the same time and the turnips outcompeted the others leaving us with trangly looking kale and beets and rabi with no tubers. We are just trying to find more inventive ways of cooking turnips.
We were thinking of going to that lunch with Josh and Clive but unfortunately can't get time off work :( .
