Yeah mate , but was too busy with the broom cleaning sides of tank, and brooming much to the center of the tank as it drained out.
Believe me, there was much crap in there
Just about to go start the system running again, as the fish tank is full to the overflow and sump should nearly be to the right level, and I need another beer.
Shit, the planets might be lining up

Yeah , do it Jamie. No better time than when big rains are coming to my way of thinking. Depends on how and where you are with the cycling I suppose.
I figured, I wanted clear water so cycling can wait, no rush eh

Cloudy again this morning but not as bad as it was. Put a couple of egg whites in and hoping it will clear one day

Caught 9 goldfish out of the pond and put them in the tank to start the cycling

Nah, decided to cycle it with fish. I have heaps of goldies in the pond. Up to 10 in the tank now.

bloody stubbs are going to my head.... been @ Work since 6am and i missed lunch.......

Thanks folks. Back from pub, and the missus did pull out the card and a few moths, and even shouted one round of drinks.

Well emptied the system completely again yesterday and refilled fish tank and sump from rainwater tanks. Flushed growbeds by pumping from sump into them so as not to foul up the fishtank. Still getting cloudy water. Emptying the sump again now after flushing each growbed 3 times.
Will keep doing this till the water comes clear or I run out of rainwater[/size]
