Been a while since I updated...

Had a bit of a disaster overnight the other week...

The site, and indeed the coast here... got slammed by 100kph westerlies...

I knew they were coming, and had deliberately left the side curtains loose and the eastern door panel unclad... so that any pressure inside the greenhouse would be dissapated...

And because the supplier of the greenhouse had short delivered the necessary locking strips needed for the door panels anyway... and wasn't back from interstate until today... (he forgot to send them before going away :roll: )

Bottom line... the wind tore the film out of the locking strips on the eastern end... even the tension strips that were hammered in....

And tore the film in several places... with a tear from the top rail to the end roof arch...

Effected temporary repairs.. and have a plan for a permanent solution...

The supplier confirmed that I followed the instructions provided, my plan for remedial action, apologised... and sent me additional locking strips and film...

In the mean time.... plumbed in the growbed supply lines for both systems...

Just need a bit more crusher dust to level out inside... and I'll finish off the growbeds... and commission the smaller two bed system...

Cut the remaining pipes in... incorporated a dump valve...
