Most who have followed my posts over the last couple of years would know I have a Dark, slightly warped possibly sense of humour, but ..........................
I was at a conference in Perth yesterday and was sitting near a teen aged girl who had a name badge on, the name on the badge was Jenny Taylor, why would she not use Jennifer? what were here parents thinking :dontknow: she didn't look old enough to be married and no rings
I also went to school many moons ago with a Wayne Kerr, parents must of hated him since birth, and a mate named his son Desmond Troy .... shortened to Des Troy, this was deliberate, and suits I might add
I use to run a TAB for the folks and use to hear a lot of weird names, I took my other nickname I use in another forum from a horse called Pistol Knight, the funniest name on track I ever heard was from a dog race in Queensland, dog races are run pretty quick so imagine the caller call the race when Karnavah Kid was running, say it fast 3 times  we only ever heard it run the once so must have changed it's name, it was actually owned by a person with the surname of Karnavah.
So got me thinking, what funny names have others heard..............

I worked security at a bacon plant. The job included answering the phone and paging people to it at times. I had to relay calls to both Mike Hawk and Mike Hunt.

Dunno Mantis, found this on the net, maybe one of those tall stories,
Quote:
Alan Jones tells the story of the service station in his hometown in Qld with the proprietors names written across the top
“Hitchcock and Scratchit”

Work is slow again so have been looking around and seems lots of people know Wayne Kerrs, some suggest they have heaps of Wayne Kerrs at work, Mike Hunt is also popular, also Wayne King, and someone knows a Ben York-Hunt and a Pat Micock and in the Melb white pages Dr. E. Bola
The mind boggles
