50mm pvc from the pumps to the spider valve, then 40mm pvc after that, 32mm pvc inside the growbeds.
40mm pvc drain from growbed, into 50mm dwv, then 90mm stormwater back to tank.

Lots of beer to gnash, better for you than vegies as well.

Cool, thanks. My laguna is only a 6000, but then my system is much smaller. Will have to go and anoy the local plumbing place for bits again. I reckon they think I am a nutter with all the strange things I ask for.

Perhaps I can answer that for Colin, if you don't mind OBO?
There are no real "problems" with Council, just the normal timing issues in getting information from Department to Department and the attendant CYA (Cover Your Arse) issues for litigation and interpretation of semantics involved in Planning Regulations and Approvals.

Kalgoorlie Boulder City Council have requested further information in relation to the Planning Application requirements in accordance with their Planning Guidelines and Conditions.
I have prepared and have had preliminarily submitted for comment, drawings in accordance with Council's requirements for this type of application, which have been vetted by OBO for correctness and completeness in a timely manner.
I am assuming they (The City Council) have never had to deal with a specific application for an Aquaponics derived system of "Edible" Landscaping, which falls within their pre-approved development types for OBO's particular Industrial zoning.
Their apparent procrastination has more to do with acceptable approval without precedent rather than slow office and Bureaucratic procedures.
I am in contact with KBC Council to try and expidite their approval process by providing the information they (are yet to) request, as well as preparing the pro-forma's for OBO's formal Planning and possible Building Approval.
I hope to move them along a bit with some more gentle nudging to their Development Control Team in the coming days.

Cheers Ian K

Thanks Ian :) Appreciate your efforts.

Gnash, I am thinking that with a fair bit of growth, the beds will be mostly shaded, they will also be painted white. Whole area will be grass too, so that will help.

Water never got hot here so far, I think my hottest ever was around 28.

I think councils are parasitic and great examples of organised white collar crime networks. But thats only my opinion. :D

O God, imagine trying to get sheep past the council lol. One of the reasons for the holdup with the council is the fact they are classing the fish as livestock. Even though they dont have legs rofl.

That figures....but what else would they class the fish as?????....and you must remember it took about year from buying a commercial property (Kalgoorlie business park) until the first slab went down for a shed.....the council took that long over the plans.....either way I hope someone with a half decent head on their shoulders realizes what your doing and goes "What a good idea" big gold star for you :D

Sigh, wish it were so easy. (as getting some one to realize it's a good idea. But it probably takes that and then they need to make all the rest of the council members realize the same thing. It's probably a lot like trying to herd chickens.)

Hum, think you could get the sheep classed as petrol free lawn mowing equipment?

Looking good anyway, get that paint onto those IBC's while you are waiting on the council.
