Cheers Gemmell, :D simple but it works a treat, finally got a second pump and missus GB is again in full swing, pity the frosts have all but killed everything, I am thinking of designing a clear plastic hood for GB's next year to act as a greenhouse, anyone else done this, on Ebay they have left over rolls of GH plastic for about $11 per meter on a 7mt wide roll so under $100 for the plastic, and a bit of poly pipe and a few fittings should do it

Yeh, I've done it - i actually have a 2 layer hood for my tank.

The first is a shadecloth material, the 2nd is a greenhouse material. I'm sure I've got photos up somewhere.

Trout are getting big as a fishermans tale :D and veggies have perked up a bit now the frosts have sort of gone, doubt the winter veg will be ready before I need to start summer veg though, am seriously thinking of a green house hood or 2 for next year.
Off to Margaret River for a coupla days, hope they have enough shiraz, I feel a gout attack coming on  but it will be worth it

No worries Ivan, were you watching the local Rugby or the Aussie's?
Not a huge drama with the fish when I got back, one dead one that was still a tadpole, him and his mates got through to the other tank, managed to get them out but he obviously wasn't eating the marron food as hadn't grown much, I suspect it was too small for the 5mm pellets, kids made a big drama over it :dontknow: so thought we better get on the road, other fish seem fine so hope that was only problem. We will catch you next time, will try and pick a time when it's not raining, Witchy locals say that's not often.
Great weekend all the same, got down to Cape Leeuwin (and also Cape Naturalist) they have this track for Cape to Cape walk, why would you want to do that when you have a perfectly good car :dontknow: takes a comfortable 2-3 hours with a couple of stops along the way by car and about a week on foot  Did a couple of Woobla farms, Colonial & Bootleg Breweries, Margaret river Cheese and Margaret River Chocolate Factories and the Margaret River Nut Farm, tried to see the MR Marron Farm but closed, stayed at the Comfort Inn in Margaret River, excellent rooms for $120 a night, nice curry house at the bottom of main street, they do a wicked Vindaloo, spent a bit of time at the Corner Pub, found a new program (to me anyway) on Fuel TV, 5.30pm (WST) Fridays, Lingerie Football, I kid you not, it's American Grid Iron (which I like) played by women wearing skimpy clothing, they have shoulder pads (on outside) most have huge natural padding just below the shoulder pads, grid iron helmets and very short shorts and bikini type tops  , it is quite serious stuff beleive it or not, I have it set to record :D

Sounds like you and T had a good time - good to hear.

Good discovery about the American footy variation - think I've seen something about it somewhere on the web, but never bothered chasing it down. I might finally get interested in the game :naughty:
