I am in Corrigin about 200kms from Perth and I have started a system from "stuff" recycled from around the yard and 2 IBC' s cut into half, I have put up and old gazebo that had blown down, straightened it up and put shadecloth on top, bought a cheap chinese pump from ebay 550 watts for flood and drain, and have some pots with 13mm pipe with holes punched in them and an end cap on the top draining straight into the IBC's, probably best with photos. I have just been given a frame that was covering a caravan, it is 6m x 3.5m and the guys are carrying it down the main street when the shops shut Sat. arvo. I have swapped gardening for the sparky to put a power point next to the "setup".
Very excited, will probably just plug it in with an extension cord just to see if it works, and now that I have the new frame I can plan EXTENSIONS, love this stuff :D will post photos

550wts  That's a heavy pump Ruth, you can get a 6000lph resun for around $100-$120 that use around 120wts, I got a 4000lph pump from Ebay that has 2 year warranty, $60 posted and does around 2500-3000lph at the head height I have, use under 100wts

Thanks Nocky I had to go to Perth so all AP things are on hold rather than blow everything to bits maybe I should keep that pump for future extensions and get a smaller one,
Ruth

Nocky - I was a part of the 90's generation, but we heard about the Mulla's 'Old Crew'...thats the stuff of legends!

They say if you survived the old Mullaloo pub Animal Bar you can survive through anything!

I remember when the Tav opened was April 1 1976 I had the first lemon squash ever in the pub, it has changed heaps now, it was a single story pub with 2 small bars and a drive through, second story was added early 80's and the deli next door cut in half to allow for the Animal bar, I left just after that was opened but remember the early days of it
