You may choose the amount of crap you get from your fish via the amount you feed them or how many you keep alive.

But....the amount of crap from Rick or CD will be at our discretion. :bootyshake: :bootyshake:

Tank overflowed yesterday so suspected that something was in the hose that connects two tanks together, got a piece of poly pipe and pushed it through and out popped a Dead *frack* ing yabbie, only recent dead must have got in and got stuck, was a biggy though, the mesh covers I put on have disappeared, found some plastic popper scoopers in Coles so got 2 and made them like pics below and have hopefully stop the problem, hopefully it was the last yabbie :upset: See how clear the water is since my last HSM

Cheers Gemmell, :D simple but it works a treat, finally got a second pump and missus GB is again in full swing, pity the frosts have all but killed everything, I am thinking of designing a clear plastic hood for GB's next year to act as a greenhouse, anyone else done this, on Ebay they have left over rolls of GH plastic for about $11 per meter on a 7mt wide roll so under $100 for the plastic, and a bit of poly pipe and a few fittings should do it

Jeez they're low temps :boggle: - dunno how either of you put up with it.

My water temp is yet to get below 10ºC. Be interesting to see if I have problems over the summer.

Our water temps here at the shop were 10ºC the other day. There was a bit of uneaten feed on the bottom of the tank and I was scooping it out with the net, but my hard started aching from the cold water.. Water saps the heat out of you so much more than air..
