Didn’t feed the fish since the water temperature dropped bellow 16°C.
I can see them grazing on the algae but they’re not interested in pellets.

Some radishes are ready for picking and sugar peas in flower.
Also coriander and greens doing fine but broad beans very disappointing.
Spending heaps of time picking off those pesky green larvae. Drives me nuts.

Will be going to Europe in September for a month and for next year
my DW is planning South America trip so will not be doing to much on the AP sys. for now.

Those peas (Dwarf sugar) were struggling for a long time but two halfcups of seaweed extract in one month did really help.
Newer used the seaweed in AP, so was quite apprehensive but as I didn’t find any negative result posted on the forum I gave it a try.

I didn’t feed the fish for the whole of winter but they must be doing fine.
Those Dwarf Sugar Peas had only two shots of Seasol to start them off after germinating.

cheers Rup - haven't seen that one and its a bit old. My challenges are pumping to them. Im looking at starting off with 20 halves first (2 X banks of 10), and im doing loop siphon like Steve and yourself (ohh - and EB) ;) :)

I can get more to, but I may get em and share the blue barrel love with some of the Adelaide people ;)

yes, it is, galv angle and strapping angles, well above water level,
do get wet only if it rains.

that's no problem, got my SisIL babysitting the house.

Been without PC for a week, at my SIL's place now so while he's at work I'm making the best of it. :wave1:

Back from holidays and having back my pc.
If not counting two left over cuts of smoked pork left in the cooler
becoming as tough as Hard Yakka boot soles, (just missing the steel cups),
no other disaster to be proud off.
Just everything well overgrown. All the fish alive and feeding.
Did make a partial water change to be on the safe side.
