Porterhouse steaks with mushroom sauce for us, which will go well with the brown ale I have on keg at the moment.

Just been given a bottle of home made wine by Macedonian neighbour from across the road for mowing his nature strip when I do my lawns. I still have last years bottle in the cupboard, became a little concerned when he said to mix it with sparkling water as it has a bit of a kick :?

I'm partial to a glass of red on a could winter night, might wait till I have some friends over :occasion5: before I open it up. Just to be safe, don't want to wake up tomorrow looking like this :blackeye:

It's cold, windy and raining out side. I think that counts as a cold winter night. :thumbleft:

Off to look at the wine list in the kitchen and think about dinner.

I don't think it will be as nice as yours Jamie, but am thinking Sausages with mashed potato and steamed veggies Hmmmmm! :toothy7:

Missus has a chicken curry in the slow cooker, eldest daughter is making a chocolate banana cake and wants to make a caeser salad later on. We will eat ok tonight :D

Got a red pale ale brewing out in the shed, and have a wheat ale on tap that is very good. Bright ale clone is in the fermenters :drunken:

Will have first beer after brewing is finished to avoid stuffups

Well I just ran a 5km race (my first ever) and I am ready for a beer. 5km in 33:30. Not bad for a big bloke like myself.

Do you use a bread Maker or make it yourself in an oven etc...

After a 5km run, I think you deserve more than 1 beer! :thumbright:

The red is going down a treat tonight. Would have been a good night for a roast. Have a leg of lamb in the freezer might take it out now for tomorrow night.
