I think the smiley ball is a good reference point... all colours start from yellow, and all good vibes start from a smiley!

I find the test colours confusing at times so roll the tube over the colours and see which one dissapears.

Thanks everyone for your advice, I think I'm getting the hang of at least the basics... :)

I have made a bit of a chart to show my readings over the past 22 days...
I had to tweak some of the data to get a comparison on the chart but Science Girl says it's pretty self explanatory, if not thoroughly scientifically valid for journal publication... I told her I like beer and we agreed to disagree. 8)

Here it is for all those who would take a look:

I know what you mean brother... Scares me too! Luckily the system has a mind of it's own and I can't change it! (Now where have I encountered that before???)

PS: I had to knock my cider down to 4% in the cold weather... took too long to brew!!!
