Been to B to try and buy the fittings. Don't seem to have the larger sizes as I only saw 40 mm fittings whilst I want 90 mm fittings. Where do you all buy your plumbing?

Der in the 90 mm fitting section ask one of there blokes

:laughing3:
Hopefully it's a special section for the 90 mm. Might give another B a try also.

Its worth checking out other hardware stores/plumbing first before B. 40mm 90deg elbows cost me $1.90 while B had them for about $5.50.

Are you comparing apples with apples? IOW were they both 40mm DWV ? I think the $5.50 would have been high pressure PVC.

Interesting photo you have there in your avatar. I took a series of them one after the other going up the west coast when I drove around the block in 2005.

Both 40mm pressure pvc, identical fittings far as I could tell with same wall thickness.

Photo was on an trip to Esperance WA, don't bother normally to take them. I do a lot of road trips from Esperance around the coast up to Wyndham for work.

Ok....tank fittings
Hansen 50mm $35
Hansen 80mm $135
Hansen 100mm $180

The price of the 80mm and 100mm hurts...would 2 x 50mm work similar?
Would 2 x 50mm be more flexible?

What do you want those fittings for if you are running cp just use 90 mm stormwater pipe $15 for 6 metre and a 90 elbow $5.00 just poke it through the wall and a bit if sellys roof and gutter silicone mines been running 3 years no problem
Flemington 1/2 hr drive and i can show you how its done

Thanks F&F.

It is for the FT overflow onto the GB of the CP.

It didn't occur to me just to use the method your suggesting.

And your suggestion makes perfect sense given the nature of the application as the overflow will not require a watertight/pressurised seal.

Slowly understanding that I have much more to learn.

Knowledge and wisdom are 2 very different things...F&F has both.
