Anyone able to identify this chili I sure that it came from "Diggers seeds" in a mix
It is with out doubt that the best I have tried very hot but not burning and a very nice lingering after taste.

DR, I know it under the name "Firecracker" and is a member of the Capsicum annuum family

The bush should be a small, dense shrub and the fruit can vary in heat.

Looks fantastic as the fruit begin to ripen as they go through a number of colour stages.

I had that one too - they go almost purple but cross pollinate every other chilli I had so they were all like that

Yeah, all chillies will cross pollinate very easily - think of rabbits reincarnated as plants.

Thanks Chilidude
Should have known that you would be able to ID the plant.
How do you rate them? and in your opinion what is your top tasting and growing chili
