Location: USA, Florida, Yalaha
Catfish are still a fairly tough fish but they are definitely more sensitive to water quality, aeration and chemical problems with the water, they might make a good indicator of problems.

And often times you can see that there are issues with them before they actually die. Mine will get white patches on their skin when they get irritated by something.
