Thinking of setting up 12V right from scratch
I don't mind paying for a couple of decent batteries, & transformer
But would like to try wind (lots of it here) - exercise bike even -
with car type alternator
Realising keeping waterproof, maybe an issue?
Keen to hear of any knowledge/links/ideas :)

Here is one usefull page I bookmarked when I built a tiny battery charger wind generator. Did work but I ended up abandoning the idea due to noise.

A mate did tell me about the noise, but he was talking about gable/roof mount 240V
Would they be OK noise wise, if mounted on their own pole, I wonder
