Very nice system MalcomC,

I wish I had the room for one like yours.

You may already know this,but,I'm told when planting seeds put a few (two or more) in and if one doesn't grow the others should then you can take the others out if you get two or more pop up.

Yes. Some of the seed boxes do have a couple of seeds. Lettuce OTOH just has a sprinkle. What comes up gets planted. What doesn't .... well I've just left it to itself.

I've also been reading that with AP we can just mix all the seeds up and sprinkle across the top of the GB. Personally, I like to selectively plant so I know WHAT is growing WHERE. I'm no greenthumb by any means but pick up a few tricks along the way; like marigolds are planted in the centre of each GB to help thwart off bad bugs.
