Here in Vic trout we may have lost a lot of trout in five farms in bushfires but those trout ponds saved some people as well!
Agree trout may be a species not ideally suited to Vic or WA and especially SA cause of temp limits
but WA have developed trout that survive up to 24 degrees at Chalanger Tafe so I read in that Tas aqua magazine
Vic will continue to produce trout cos they taste great and everyone wants to catch and eat them

my *What would Monya Say?* are growing very quickly, and continue to feed well. Rainbows are more active than brown, but both feeding well. Silvers are almost asleep.

Ya just can't win. Here in NZ we are banned from keeping TROUT and now we are banned from mentioning TROUT in the forum. Now I'll be banned from the Forum and I was so looking forward to being a contributing member too. I'd better go in case I get banned from anything else :wink:
