In the last 12 months there was a story on tv about a farmer around south aus who was making cavaier from trout in his dam
It showed him milking trout

That is interesting F&F Earthbound sent a website re Caviar, so I have made some we will see how it goes.
Creative1 droped in with half a hot smoked Trout very nice had it for the evening meal.
I will post a photo later of the Caviar :D

2 Trout weighing about 1200grams each. :D
I ground up:
1 tsp sea salt
1 tsp Black pepper corns
some chives
some thyme
Juice of 2 limes
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp garlic
Smeared the mix over the butterflied trout and let in infuse for an hour.
Smoked for 50mins

The Caviar made from the Trout roe is a real treat, you will have to drop in and try :flower:
I followed the Recipe suggested by Joel ,shame he is so far away and cannot get a taste :(

Nice fish, did I say that :D

I don't think I will have enough energy to get there today mate, last night was a doosy.(7.30 am)
and am just about to go fit some forms to a brick up.

Cheers for the opportunity to cook your Trout up.
I forgot to add the last part of the cooking process...
Eat! and it was very nice indeed.
