I built a mud over based on that book. It worked but no matter what, one chunk of small chunk of mud fell onto whatever I cooked. If you want to see pics I'll have to get them off the old computer.

I planned & built it during a very hot summer. The next summer was very cool & it wasn't a problem to bake in the house so I didn't use it too much. Then the goats kept jumping on it...

Now the goats are gone and I've torn it down & I'm waiting for my husband & son to make a brick oven. I think if it's a hot summer it'll get done.

The guy down the road has one he has built up on his verandah over looking a loverly valley :)
I like the idea, I could extend the verandah at the corner, may have mentioned to you Boris when you were last down you could then
walk out and look over the waterfall & Trout ponds :?:
That way it would only be a short distance to the kitchen/dinning room, when you come down we can have a look at the one up the road. Then stairs down to the Ponds, what do you think :dontknow:

Hi, I have a fairly large wood fired pizza oven we use for our teahouse. Yesterday (mothers day) I cooked around 90 11inch Pizza's in just over 3 hours.

They are fantastic, we cook just about everything in it, have'nt used the BBQ for 18months.

I was going to try and replicate this one at some point. Lots of construction pics and pretty sharp looking. I like the benches too.

Built in 2005 or 6. Dismantled by the goats, then me in '08.
A brick oven will rise from the ruins this summer (supposedly).
