You can live without it ... the one featured does say "sometimes NOT with 3."....

Depends whether you really want broadband internet access ... and what sort of level of access....Next G is just Telstra's bundle of services.... some have hard jubes, some have jelly beans...

If you just want a phone... get an old style Nokia... simple as.... the dual sim idea has some appeal if you want to seperate business and personal calls.... or as a backup if you run out of credit on one sim... but you can always just carry an extra sim anyway...

What do YOU want from a phone??

At least you can change the batteries on these ones... and they're "unlocked"... and about a tenth of the price... heck, you could always just throw them away and get another one... and still "look kewl"....

1/2 the fun of the iPhone is the AppStore. No mention of GPS either...Just yesterday I took a wrong turn after picking up my fire hydrant and did not realize until I was already good and lost...out come the phone and the maps and I was home in no time. I love my iPhone! The only thing I would consider other then iPhone would be the android. It came out like two years after I got my iPhone, but if I was in the market would certainly look at it. The iPhone knock-off looks like trouble to me. I remember the cheap Walkman knock-off I got as a kid (some here may be to young to know what the first portable cassette players were) - ya it lasted all of a month or so. I learned 20 some years ago to buy quality.

The phone is great, bit crap at the start because Telstra had their own software mods added and that buggered the GPS software. They fixed it with an update a week later, apart from that, by far the best phone I've ever had, we are really entering a period where phones are truly becoming "smart phones".

These android phones are so adaptable, you can set up the main screen to look like what ever you want, even leave it totally blank, and have whatever widgets and apps you want on other pages that are a quick swipe away..

There are heaps of apps and widgets, they reckon by the end of this year there will be about 150,000...

Yeah I'm happy...... :)

You don't really need nextG unless you go bush a bit and want faster downloads and better reception in fringe areas. If your reception is good enough for you now, now need to go nextG really

Thanks for that my old phone is ok so i think i will just change carriers 3network here so close to the city theres dead spots everywere[i cant get out others in the same area can ]
