Hi Earthbound,
The baby's tears took over very quickly I have now started to plant it in the top water fall now that the temp has droped.The bees love it getting an easy drink :D great for the bird life as well.

Well I have at last caught one of the big trout he was 18inches long 1.25Kilo
So I will break out a nice white wine to have with him :geek:
There is six in the sump tank two of which are larger still creative1 believe's there 1.5 pluss :headbang:
I am going to see how big they can get :dontknow:

BTW that trout you gave me the other day was joy mate, nice pink, beautiful fat clean trout.
As you know I smoked it with the Budda hand leaves, apple branch shavings and lemon branch shavings
straight off the tree...
I am calling it for a hot smoked trout near the best I have done... deb says no that was about 4 weeks ago...
she still remembers :wink:

Then I tried to squash it by rubbing its face into a rock for a bit... but then it swam off when I threw it back in. WTF?!?!

Yes Iv I wish I had apic of it , the leap over thr water fall was good however the landing
neads a bit of work on :laughing3: The little fellow was telling the others to night of his experance in the outside world ,and the ugle B how saved him :upset:

Eagle i think those blood worms are these:

Black Worms are a variety of tubifex worm. They are found naturally found in sewage outlets. When commercially cultured they are purged clean and packaged for sale as food for fish.

I also think that you fish are eating these and is why you have an elevated level of ammo n'trite n'trate.
I figure you could cut the feeding back some more.

Hi DejaVoodoo.
I have some larger ones as Creative1 would tell you however they are difficult to catch, I have had difficulty in taking photo as all I get is the sky reflection :( there is one in the sump tank he is Big Big and a lovely color, I want to see how big he will get
I have an underwater camera however the temp is down to 16c the ocean that i swim in is 23c big difference :shock:
