I removed the indexing stem rupe and siliconed it up. No more leaking :) With the hole, I was pretty sure that there would still be enough pressure to index properly, and there is, even with 90% of the water bypassed. Any chance of a photo of the two difference sizes?

Hey chilli, the plants are surviving. The pH dropped quite a bit yesterday, so thats looking a lot better.

Earthquake caused 9 Trout deaths, and a small water leak.

I have not updated any photo's cause there is nothing to update really :) Been working flatout to make the money for the next expansion. Two weeks and I should have it in.

He's got the land now, once you have the space it gets very hard to stop expanding.

nonononon, am sticking to the original plan. I'm only leasing so I am not investing too much. Two big tanks, 40 odd IBC's. Thats it.

Glad to see that apart from a massive earthquake everything is going well.

I was wondering if you are still running with flood and drain or if you had thought of a way to get the growbeds to siphon. I am correct in saying that the growbeds and flood and drain at the moment? Also I was wondering approximately how long is it taking for your growbeds to fill?

Sorry for the questions. Still trying to get a handle on how this all works.

Cheers

Yeah, just 15 mins flood, 45 mins drain per station. The siphons were not reliable, and would occasionally fail to 'breath' resulting in the bed overflowing. Takes them around 8 minutes to fill. About the same to drain.

Wow, sling a roof between the drying racks, some wind up plastic walls, and you have a greenhouse with multiple levels of NFT channels and grow beds draining into a series of fish tanks 8)

Reminds me a little of Growing Powers systems in their greenhouse.
