They are deceptive little buggers that you don't want to mix up too easily... Red ones very mild and sweet, absolutely beautiful. Orange ones look very similar, but blow the top of your head off, one of the strongest in the world..... :geek:

Nice crop Jessy - very impressive. Well you know where to find plenty of chilli sauce recipes if you want 'em ..

Red ones are Chinese Lanterns, orange ones are Orange Habaneros. As EB said, the reds are mild, the orange ones aren't  :violent3:

I have a pH of less than 6 :?

I know this question has been answered a thousand times, but I need a refresher on it

I understand shell grit is a good buffer, but what sure fire quick way can I raise the pH ??

Try Slacked Lime or Dolomite Lime (Not as strong) I used a hand full diluted in a bucket and put in, test next day and add more if needed, I then used the shell grit to maintain the level

Thanks everybody, I saw a bag of the lime today in the hardware, so I will pick that up tomorrow.

41 oC ??? I thought it felt a bit warm, turned an aircon on and all for a few hours.

love this time of year..basically cooling down wonderfully.

The caravan parade already starting to come into town  They bring all the city bugs and germs :shifty: .

they prolly get away so they don't catch the city bugs and germs ;)

I went to Broome early this year and loved it... I'm almost tempted to move up somewhere in the Kimberleys. it's so warm and dry...even in the height of summer.

I am running the system hydroponically, using additives to make the garden grow...due to not wanting to dealing with Barra through winter....I have already killed my fair share.

And I love it...the system looks like it is on steriods
