Thanks DV, I still havnt got it up to date.

Im missing a few photos here but the 2 ~ 1000L plastic lined grow beds filled were filled with pea gravel.
The 2000L fish tank was sealed by rendering with grey cement mixed with Bondall pond sealer. (The dirty sludge looking stuff that contains calcium chloride) A 4L bottle was used for the 2000L tank with about half mixed with just grey cement powder and water and painted on as the final coat.
I know this method sealed the fish tank very well as the back wall of the fish tank is just a single course of hollow bricks and no moisture marks are evident on the other side.

The 2 grow beds alternately flood and drain through the fish tank.
The GB at the rear of the photo has a 60W pump pumping at about 60cm head into the fish tank which drains into the GB at the front of the photo which has another 60W pump on a 15min on/15min off timer which pumps back into the other GB.
Because the pump transferring between the GBs has half the head height it pumps twice as fast and so the alternating flood and drain between the 2 GBs works well on the 15min cycle.
