I just read this book and highly recommend it

http://peterdingle.com/dog-eats-book.html

Very basic and easy to read book telling us what we should be eating based on how we have evolved over hundreds of thousands of years (if you don't subscribe to creationism) as hunter/fisher/gatherers instead of what we currently eat based on 10,000 years of agriculture.

Lots of high Omega 3 fish and vegies is promoted for a healthy life.

Another bonus for aquaponics

Peter dingle was one of my lecturers at uni. The course included a lot of what looks like is in that book.

He is a great guy! and fully convinced that by sticking to his plans of health eating, no harsh chemicals etc. he can live to 100+ yrs of age no problem.

He is on TV here in perth quite regulalry promoting items such as enjo cleaning cloths and dyson vacumes.

It all makes sense to me.......

I read that title in a totally different way....

I'm sure his children would make perfectly good dog food.

Interesting subject though, and the fact that even over the past 10-15 thousand years diets for humans have changed and adapted with different environments and regions.
