No photos, no proof, no one believes you.

I remember Nocky trying to covince us when his scales were broken. :laughing3: :laughing3: :laughing3:

....yeh Rick I get that, but the scales aren't big enough and 2 of us were not able to eat 1 fillet.
My question was/is what is the biggest Trout someone managed to acheive this season?
These Trout went in during June and as far as I am concerned are the biggest I have seen since I harvested
my earliest Trout 5 or 6 years ago, that were 2 years old. :dontknow:

Thats why I didn't post a photo Rick, and I have new scales to prove mine were *frack* ed :-P
My biggest from May - end of December was 723gms, one bigger but as rick pointed out scales were broked so no evidence only the pleasure of eating it

A nice leek and a radish big enough for several salads, but still tender.

Radishes, too! I went out to give my tomato seedlings a bit more room by pulling some excess and found this one in my hand. 9cm diameter one way, 11 the other, so average 10cm (4")! And still tender, mild, and crunchy.

Hey Hydro... there's really not a lot of difference between your "dry" look and you "wet" look (avatar) is there?....

Nice radish by the way...

Well, we did it, we pulled the big catfish out of the sump tank this evening. (I know it's not a veggie but I think it's still worth posting the picture here.)

Well about 2 foot long she was (had been calling it a big guy but upon opening the fish up we found huge egg sacks.)

And this fish was too big for the kitchen scale so we hung up the luggage scale

And this one came out to about Ten pounds after removing the barbs for safer handling.

Apparently the meat came out to 6 lb but I didn't get a picture of the fillets on the scale (actually more than just fillets since mom managed to salvage most of the meat in addition to the fillets)

we haven't tried catfish roe but we probably should since it seems we have a large number of female fish.
