I was getting a couple of fish out of my tank today and accidently bumped my retractable shade cloth with the net handle.

I thought it felt a bit heavy so I had a closer look

A picture of some Silver Perch removed today, ranging from 450 grams to just over 600 grams :)

No pictures of the growbeds, they look a bit sparse at the moment ; waiting for winter crops to get going.

A couple of years now Decal. I don't feed them too heavily, prefer to let my fish grow slowly.

Yep Rupe, some of the big ones I saw at your place definitely need a knock on the head :)

Hot weather on the way and no time to ice things down (new baby about to hit the house :) ) so it is was trout culling (killing) time.

The two biggest at 480gms. They ranged from 280 up to this size.

Cooked in butter, lemon grass, lemon thyme, celery, ginger and parsley. Potatoes with parsley and lemon thyme. Kale and spinach.

You did the right thing Fishfodder, they look yummy. I hear the bigger ones aren't as sweet anyway, so no point letting them grow bigger :shifty:
