G'day South Aussie people
Is anyone heading down to Tooperang soon for trout? I'm thinking about going down on either Saturday 20th (anytime) or Sunday 21st (morning) (provided my ammonia levels drop to below 5 - woops, too much pee  ) and wondered if anyone would like to meet down there. I thought if we had a few people together they might give us a quick tour. They are currently selling for 60 cents (for quantities >50) but the price increases by 10 cents each callander month.

If its on the Saturday I'd be happy for people to meet here (Hallett Cove) before we head down there for a brief get-together/chat/coffee. If anyone is interested please post here or pm.

David

20th sounds good to me. Hope I can get my temps down by then. I'll probably come from Murray Bridge direction.

yeah I'm in, both the 20th and 21st are OK at this stage.

It's easier for me to meet you there, as I would be taking the back way through Meadows etc...

I also need to know how many you need as they have asked for a couple of days notice.

20th or 21st is fine by us. We can meet you at your place or down at Tooperang. We would be looking at 50.

I would take 20 or so, but cannot do anything till my Barra get bigger, and temps go down - there is still the traditional march heat waver to deal with....

I'm getting 100. Plenty of room for a learning curve I hope.

I think with all the moisture inland we should be safe from any prolonged period of heat.

I don't know about One Tree Hill but here at Crafers I've had to dig out the tracky dacks instead of the shorts when I get home after work  , so it seems that the night time temps are falling. So by the time the Equinox rolls around (March 20th) I think we should be ok for trout. If not then I'm going to have some expensive ferterizer for my trees, or protein for the chooks  .

count me out for next week, unless I can buy my Esky (see a previous post I made) I will just have to wait.

Oh, and last year they were flooding too, and we still got the heat wave.... (if i remember correctly)

OK shall we make it the 20th then. Dex has suggested meeting there at 1000, and as he is coming from the furthest distance we should really go along with that. I will ring Tooperang and tell them we're coming, and I will see you all in the carpark.
