Of course that snow there was probably mild compared to much of the country!!!! I'm glad it didn't really reach all the way down here though. Even so, it's been a bit dank and wet here lately.

Hopefully the snow melt doesn't mess with the ground water levels on you too  much.

it wont affect the ground water levels at all since they are at about a foot down... will take weeks of dry weather to get them to drop....

but will keep going....

Nice new project, there, JT! Looks good!

Where did you source the 27 gal. heavy duty totes and how much?

BTW, sent that snow your way so it wouldn't bury my new GH!

Thanks,

CB

snows almost gone... got to 44 degrees (6.6c) so most of the snow has melted....

I like it, but I like it gone even more :drunken:

so got the ST almost ready to put in....

added the sentra extension around the top and all I need to do tomorrow is
silicone where it meets the tank..

sump hole is full of water right now.... but will go down in a few days..... if it ever stops
raining.....more tomorrow...

got out yesterday and got the ST in position..... the hole had some water in it and got it pumped out...

the ST is within 1/4" (.63cm) from being level over the long length, so think I can be happy with that....

now time to start plumbing up the GB's, FT's and ST and start testing....

still have to put in a couple siphons on the GB's

if you look to the bottom left of the second picture, you can see the 6" diameter drainpipes that are over the inlet/outlet pipes.... I can reach down in and clean them out when necessary...

I will be building a small deck to cover the ST and around the area... and once it get going, I can start landscaping...

Lookin' good, JT.

How are you going to keep the ST from popping out of the ground when water table is up and the ST is low/empty? Thinking you may have already answered this, but I must not have 'gotten' it.
