Michael was really impressed by the trout feeding... muttering.. "great shots, really really good stuff"..

He spent about 2 hours here chatting and filming... and said the edited segment should be about 8 mins long... and go to air in about 3-4 weeks...

He's going to send a disc to me... and will post the segment both on his website.. and YouTube...

Gave several mentions to BYAP, the forum and members.... and Michael has indicated he will do a follow up segment...

Showing the installation of a BYAP kit system...

Onya Michael...

Well despite the debacle of the Central Coast trip... or non-trip...

the day hasn't been a total loss.... did a quick, and very hurried phone interview for 2ST radio before I left...

And arrived home to a call from ABC for a similar interview tomorrow lunch time...

Go Rupert...flood peoples minds with Joels great AP stuff. I am all for it and doing the same for anybody interested.

I have made friends with the Jehovah's Witness group from Exmouth and Karratha. They love dropping in and I always give them Seedlings to take home and plant. They threw around this idea last weekend when they dropped in to do an article about the AP system I bought from Joel to be published in there Awake Mag. That article could reach hundreds of thousands of people all over the world.

I just ove to chat with these guys...they are cool. One fell is a botinist working with RIO, listing all the fauna and flora, of mining sites.

Now all I need to do is convice a mining camp to set up AP for fresh fuit and vegies....That would be Awse

Did a hour long presentation to the local "Garden Club" this morning... then showed about 60 people through the backyard systems....

Got a very good reception... from some pretty hardened and wise old gardeners...

Well, not so much media exposure...

But I hope that today I kicked a few goals for aquaponics anyway...

Representatives from DEWR ( Department of Employment and Workplace Relations)... the grants approver for the Shoalhaven Skills Garden Project... visited the site for an inspection...

They seemed genuinely interested in the project, and aquaponics as a concept... asking questions for nearly 30 minutes...

Also there was a gathering of TAFE management, both local and state... who similarly seemed very interested...

Local State Member for South Coast, Shelley Hancock... will be visiting the Shoalhaven Skills Garden Project on Monday...

Apparantly she has allocated an hour to sit down and chat about the project... and "aquaponics"... and they're her words...
